Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
Portion of road declared to be a Government road:—
Marked A, adjoining or passing through Run 261H.

" C " 261J.
Situated in Poolburn District.
In the Otago Land District; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45000, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto became vested in His Majesty under the provisions of section thirty-one of the Valuation of Land Act, 1908:
And whereas it is provided by subsection three of section thirty-three of the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, that any land acquired on behalf of His Majesty under the said Act may be sold and disposed of in such manner as the Governor-General in Council directs:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirty-three, subsection three, of the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby direct that the said land described in the Schedule hereto shall be Crown land subject to and dealt with under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
Lots 3 and 4, part Section 133, Komakorau Parish, Waikato County, Auckland Land District, containing an area of 43 acres 1 rood 33 perches.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kuaotunu Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Kuaotunu Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

CHARLES EDWARD TYNNIER SIMPSON,
JOHN GRAHAM, and
THOMAS MCCARTHY,
as from the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, to be the Kuaotunu Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the eighteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and McLean’s Hall, Kuaotunu, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KUAOTUNU DOMAIN.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Section 6, Block II, Otama Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a residence-site license held by Annie O’Connor, bearing 102° 36′, 642·7 links; towards the east generally by the Kuaotunu – Mercury Bay Road, bearing 192° 39′, 36·4 links, 152° 35′, 866·1 links, and 184° 59′, 306·3 links; towards the south generally by a line bearing 274° 59′, 500 links, and by Section No. 3, mining district land-occupation lease, bearing 279° 16′, 706 links, and 247° 45′, 156 links; and towards the west generally by lines bearing 13° 6′, 295·5 links, 25° 43′, 307·6 links, 312° 6′, 213·6 links, 29° 42′, 228·8 links, and 38° 3′, 309·4 links: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/367, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan No. 12956.)

Extending Time for holding Extraordinary Election of a Councillor in the Porirua Riding of the County of Makara.

At the Government House at Wellington, this ninth day of December, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in pursuance of section thirty-nine of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), an election (hereinafter referred to as “the said election”) to fill an extraordinary vacancy in the office of Councillor to represent the Porirua Riding of the County of Makara on the Makara County Council was advertised to be held on Friday, the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:
And whereas the said election was not held on the said date, and it is expedient to extend the time for holding the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act, as amended by section twenty-four of the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the said election; and doth hereby order and declare that the said election shall be held and take place on Wednesday, the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
