TE PUKE LAND DRAINAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE MADE ON THE 13TH DAY OF JULY, 1918.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Te Puke Land Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Te Puke Land Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for widening and deepening the Raparapahoe Stream from the Kaituna River to the railway-line, the said Te Puke Land Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area comprising Section Thirty-seven (37) and Lot Three (3) of Section Thirty-six (36), Block Two (2), Maketu Survey District; and Section Two (2), Block Four (4), Te Tumu Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Leonard Earle Bayliss, Chairman of the Te Puke Land Drainage Board, certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution making the special rate in connection with the loan of £1,000.
