Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in
the Marlborough Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twenty-first day
of November, one thousand nine hundred and twelve,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth
day of that month, certain land in the Marlborough Land
District was taken for scenic purposes under the Public Works
Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the
Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto
(being part of the land so taken) is no longer suitable for
scenic purposes, being open land:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred
upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amend-
ment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by
admeasurement 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being a por-
tion of Section 2 of Native Reserve K, Block XV, Hundalee
Survey District. Commencing at the south-east corner,
bounded towards the south by Section 6, Block XV afore-
said, 200 links; towards the north-west and north-east by
the remaining portion of Section 2 aforesaid, 467·8 and 200
links respectively; and towards the south-east by a public
road, 424·2 links, to the point of commencement: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. 505, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be
and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for
disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under
special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.—
KEITH SETTLEMENT.

Hororata Survey District: Area, 133 acres 3 roods 16

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Catlins—Seaward
Bush Railway (Tokanui Section) to take further land in
Blocks V and II, Toetoes Survey District, in addition to
land previously acquired for the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and
one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes hereinbefore specified.
