Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of November, 1918.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

RANGITOTO-TUHUA 37B Block: Approximate area, 3,184 acres 1 rood 33 perches; Ongarue Survey District.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, but only in so far as it affects the land specified in the Schedule hereto, prohibiting all alienation of such land other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

WAIKOKOPU No. 3 Block, Native reserve (Block 10, Section 3, Nuhaka): Approximate area, 526 acres 0 roods 27 perches (excluding area taken for harbour); Nuhaka Survey District.

Partial Revocation of an Order in Council prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of November, 1918.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under that section may at any time be varied or revoked:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council referred to in Part I of the Schedule hereto, but only in so far as it affects the land mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

PART I.

ORDER in Council under section 363 of the Native Land Act, 1909, dated the 3rd April, 1916, and gazetted the 13th April, 1916, affecting Rotoiti Nos. 5A and other blocks.

PART II.

Te Taheke No. 2B Block, containing 232 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, situate in Rotoiti Survey District.
