Special Powers granted to District Health Officer under the Public Health Act.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section eighteen of the Public Health Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the District Health Officer at Auckland to exercise all or any of the special powers set out in the above-mentioned section for the purpose of more effectually checking or preventing the spread of influenza.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
