under Ordinary Tenures, in the Nelson Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the
same is hereby set apart for selection by discharged soldiers,
under the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.—NATIONAL
ENDOWMENT.

SECTION 79c, Block XVI, Wai-iti Survey District: Area,
6 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross
of the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order,
Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of
Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-
in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion
of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and
issued under the Seal of the said Dominion,
at the Government House at Wellington, this
twenty-ninth day of October, in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged
Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito
Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-first day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of
the thirtieth day of May then instant, setting apart Crown
land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land
Act, 1908, in so far as it relates to the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.—NATIONAL
ENDOWMENT.

SECTION 2, Block XIII, Hope Survey District: Area, 874
acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross

me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of

settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal
by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special
tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SETTLEMENT.

SECTIONS 38 and 39, Block III, Kaitawa Survey District:
Area. 177 acres 3 roods 32 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
