(2.) Cease to use or occupy the said landing-stage for a
period of thirty days;
(3.) Fail to pay the sum specified in clause 3 of these
conditions; or
(4.) Become bankrupt, or be in any manner brought under
the operation of any law in force for the time being
relating to bankruptcy,โ€”
then and in any of the said cases this Order in Council, and
every right, power, or privilege, may be revoked and deter-
mined by the Governor-General in Council without any
notice to the licensee or other proceeding whatsoever; and
publication in the New Zealand Gazette of an Order in Council
containing such revocation shall be sufficient notice to the
licensee, and to all persons concerned or interested, that
this Order in Council, and the license, rights, and privileges
thereby granted and conferred, have been revoked and deter-
mined.
14. The erection of the said landing-stage shall be sufficient
evidence of the acceptance by the licensee of the terms and
conditions of this Order in Council.

Public Service Act, 1912, not to apply to certain Officer.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this fifteenth day of
October, 1918.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section four of the Public Service Act,
1912, it is enacted that nothing in that Act shall
apply to any officer or class of officers to whom, or to which,
on the recommendation of and for special reasons assigned
by the Commissioner, the Governor-General in Council de-
clares that the said Act shall not apply: And whereas the
Commissioner has recommended that the said Act should
not apply to the officer described in the Schedule hereto for
the special reasons assigned by him:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby declare that nothing in the Public Service Act, 1912,
shall apply to the officer described in the Schedule hereto.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second
day of October, 1918.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby pro-
hibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order
in Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in
the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the
Crown.


SCHEDULE.

KATERE No. 4 Block: Approximate area, 34 acres 2 roods
10 perches; Paritutu Survey District.

Revoking the Naturalization of John Cicela.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second
day of October, 1918.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS letters of naturalization were issued to John
Cicela on the fifteenth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and five: And whereas the Governor-General
in Council is satisfied that it is expedient for the welfare of
the Realm to revoke the naturalization of the said John
Cicela:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the Revocation of Natural-
ization Act, 1917, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby declare that the naturalization of the said John
Cicela shall be revoked, and that the said John Cicela shall
cease to be a British subject naturalized in New Zealand as
from the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred
and eighteen.

Streams in Auckland Land District notified under the Timber-floating Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the second section of the Timber-
floating Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby notify that the undermentioned streams
may be used under license for the purposes of the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

THE Kauparera Stream and an unnamed stream running
through Old Land Claim 12, Russell Survey District, Bay of
Islands County.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this nineteenth day of October, one thou-
sand nine hundred and eighteen.
