All situated in Block I, Patutahi Survey District (Poverty R.D.).
All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43872, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Stopping a Government Road in Block VI, Takahue Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorizing the Board of Trade to inquire into and report upon certain Matters relative to the Fishing Industry, and to delegate its Powers and Functions.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of October, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section six of the Cost of Living Act, 1915, the Board of Trade is empowered to inquire into and report upon any question relating to the trade, commerce, or business of New Zealand which may be referred to it by the Governor-General, and to inquire into and report upon matters affecting the cost of living or any other question referred to the Board by the Governor-General and relating to the supply, demand, or price of commodities, and generally to advise the Governor-General as to how the trade, industries, and commerce of New Zealand can be best encouraged, developed, and protected:
And whereas by section seven of the said Act it is provided that for the purpose of conducting any such inquiry the Board of Trade may, with the approval of the Governor-General in Council, delegate any of its powers or functions to any fit person or persons:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in pursuance of the authority so conferred upon me as aforesaid, do hereby authorize and empower the Board of Trade to inquire into and report upon the matters following:—
(1.) As to whether the price charged for fish to the public in Auckland is reasonable.
(2.) As to whether the trawling area of the Hauraki Gulf should be further restricted or further extended, and the reasons for the finding.
(3.) Whether any limit has been imposed on fishermen on their catches of fish, and the reasons for such limit (if any).
And do further authorize and empower the Board of Trade to delegate to
CHARLES CARGILL CUTTEN,
JAMES HENRY BRADNEY, and
THOMAS LONG,
of whom the said Charles Cargill Cutten shall be Chairman, all or any of the powers and functions of the Board in respect of the inquiry and report hereby authorized.

Declaring Portion of Road in Mangaorapa Block, Patangata County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of October, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Patangata County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, commencing at its junction with the Te Uri Road, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, passing through or adjoining part Lot 1, Mangaorapa 3B Block, Block IX, and Section 1, Block VI, Porangahau Survey District, and terminating at the south-western corner of the said Section 1, Block VI, Porangahau Survey District; being a distance of thirty-four chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44910, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
