Captain P. J. Cotton is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst commanding a squadron, vice Major A. S. Wilder, M.C., commanding A. and N.Z. Mounted Divisional Details, to date from 1st May, 1918, and relinquishes the temporary rank on Captain W. J. Hardham, V.C., rejoining the regiment. Dated 13th May, 1918.

Major A. S. Wilder, M.C., commanded A. and N.Z. Mounted Divisional Details, Ayun Kara, and performed the duties of Administrative Commandant, Ayun Kara Area, from 11th March, 1918, to 11th May, 1918.
Lieutenant C. B. Easther commanded A. and N.Z. Mounted Divisional Details, Belah, from 14th December, 1917, to 8th March, 1918, and performed the duties of Adjutant, A. and N.Z. Mounted Divisional Details, Ayun Kara, from 11th March, 1918, to 11th May, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant D. H. Evans is transferred from Auckland Regiment, with seniority next after 2nd Lieutenant N. P. Branson. Dated 15th July, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant R. J. Eyre is transferred from Wellington Regiment, with seniority next before 2nd Lieutenant E. J. Phillips. Dated 27th June, 1918.
Lieutenant F. B. Brown, R.N.Z.A., returning to duty with a battery, relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer for Reconnaissance, N.Z. Divisional Artillery, and ceases to be seconded. Dated 4th July, 1918.
