2nd Lieutenant R. Nelson, M.C., was sentenced by General Court-martial on 19th March, 1918, to take rank and precedence as if his appointment as 2nd Lieutenant bore date 16th day of April, 1917, and to be severely reprimanded.
The notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 102, of 25th July, 1918, relating to 2nd Lieutenant R. Nelson, M.C., is cancelled.
Captain A. B. Williams is granted the temporary rank of Major, vice Captain W. H. Jones, relinquished the temporary rank of Major. Dated 22nd June, 1918.
Lieutenant G. B. Parkinson, R.N.Z.A., is granted the temporary rank of Captain, vice Captain A. B. Williams, posted 2nd (Army) Brigade. Dated 22nd June, 1918.
Lieutenant J. E. L. Gardner, M.C., rejoined from hospital, is again granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst acting as Second in Command of a battery. Dated 23rd June, 1918.
Lieutenant W. Pollard is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst commanding a company of an entrenching battalion. Dated 18th June, 1918.

Lieutenant C. Oxenham, M.C., to be O.C. of a light trench-mortar battery, vice Lieutenant (temp. Captain) C. T. Natusch, Wellington Regiment, relinquishing the appointment, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain, and seconded, whilst so employed. Dated 6th June, 1918.
Captain C. T. Cobourne relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 3rd (Reserve) Battalion. Dated 29th June, 1918.
Lieutenant E. A. Porritt, M.C., to be Adjutant, 3rd (Reserve) Battalion, vice Captain C. T. Cobourne, and is granted the acting rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 29th June, 1918.
