Captain (temp. Major) P. W. G. Spiers relinquishes the temporary rank of Major on Major W. G. A. Bishop, M.C., joining the Battalion. Dated 4th May, 1918.

Captain E. F. Selby, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Major, vice Major J. Hargest, M.C., temporarily Commanding the Battalion, to date from 6th April, 1918, and relinquishes the temporary rank on return to duty of Lieutenant-Colonel A. B. Charters, C.M.G., D.S.O. Dated 18th April, 1918.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) G. H. Elstone relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on Captain G. C. S. Dyer, N.Z.S.C., joining the Battalion. Dated 17th March, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) A. G. Leeden relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on Captain D. Glanfield joining the Battalion. Dated 27th May, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant G. Riddell is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst Commanding a Company of an entrenching battalion, vice Captain D. W. McClurg, N.Z.R.B. Dated 26th May, 1918.

Captain P. W. Skelley, N.Z.S.C. (since died of wounds), relinquishes the appointment of Brigade Major, 3rd N.Z. (Rifles) Brigade, wounded, and ceases to be seconded. Dated 31st May, 1918.

Lieutenant A. T. Duncan, having been absent from his unit off duty for four months, is seconded under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Reg. 34. Dated 1st May, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant L. W. Andrew, V.C., to be Model Platoon Instructor, 4th N.Z. Infantry (Reserve) Brigade, and is seconded whilst so employed. Dated 14th June, 1918.
