Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Ahaura Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of September, 1918.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Ahaura Domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

HUGH GILMER,
JOHN WILLIAM MALONEY,
FRANK ARTHUR BALDOCK,
WILLIAM CLAYTON,
HUGH KENNEDY,
JOSEPH DONALDSON, and
GUSTAV HAHN

to be the Ahaura Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and James’s Public Hall, Ahaura, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

AHAURA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section No. 12, Block I, Ahaura Survey District, and Section No. 30, Block XIII, Mawheraiti Survey District. Bounded on the northward by a public road, 1305 links; on the north-eastward, 4275 links; on the south-eastward by a public road, 427 links and 3483 links; and on the west by a public road, 2720 links, 2853 links, 294 links, 509 links, 190 links, 224 links, and 136 links respectively: be the aforesaid distances a little more or less. As the same is delineated on a plan marked L. 1020, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Coalgate Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of September, 1918.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Coalgate Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THOMAS BROWN,
JESSE PRESTIGE,
ANTHONY WEASTELL,
GEORGE GRIFFITHS, and
JAMES HENRY PEARSON,

as from the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, to be the Coalgate Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Coalgate as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

COALGATE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being reserve numbered 2409, situate in Block VIII, Hororata Survey District, and bounded northward by the Whitecliffs branch line of railway, 1542 links; eastward by reserve numbered 1814, 1504·3 links; southward by Rural Section numbered 22918, 2273·5 links, and westward by Rural Section numbered 14989, 1671 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1124, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Okotuku Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

MANLEY HORTON WYBOURNE,
JAMES DALTON,
WILLIAM HENRY WATKINS,
ROYLAND WYBOURNE, and
ALEXANDER HOWIE

to be the Okotuku Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Waverley Town Board Office as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
