Settlement Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SECTIONS 12744, 21528, 23993, and part 21896, Block X, Hororata Survey District: Area, 133 acres 3 roods 16 perches.

Land in Nelson Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Nelson Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix three years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent and general rates.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 5, Block V, Inangahua Survey District: 1st January, 1918.
