NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 266, subsection (4), of the Companies Act, 1908, that the undermentioned companies have been struck off the Register for the District of Otago, and the companies have been dissolved :—

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908 ; and in the matter of the Counties Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the establishment of a gravel-pit for road-metal and other purposes for which the said Council may require stone and gravel ; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate in Queen Street, in the Borough of Wairoa, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during the ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Wairoa.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council situate in Queen Street, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JAMES BEAGLEY and JOSEPH ROBERT HAMILTON, of Napier, trading under the style of “Beagley and Hamilton,” as Builders and Contractors, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by JOSEPH ROBERT HAMILTON, who will perform all contracts and discharge all liabilities of the late firm, and will receive payments of all moneys due or becoming due to the said firm.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of members of the above company will be held in the registered office of the company, Crawford Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 22nd of August, 1918, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

In the matter of a Private Bill intituled the Christ’s College Ordinance Amendment Act, 1918.
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Standing Orders of the General Assembly of New Zealand relating to Private Bills, that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, at its next session, on behalf of Christ’s College, for leave to introduce a Private Bill to be called the Christ’s College Ordinance Amendment Act, 1918.
The objects of the said proposed Bill are to give power to alter the constitution of the college by the abolition of the life membership of the Sub-warden and Fellows, and to
