Notifying Lands in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—WEBER COUNTY.—WEBER SURVEY DISTRICT.
Rural Land.
SECTION 2, Block III: Area, 13 acres 3 roods; upset price, £165.
Situated on the main Dannevirke-Herbertville Road, and distant about one mile from the Weber Township. Originally bush land, now cleared and grassed. Flat land, with good alluvial soil; well watered by the Tahuokaretu Stream. Road frontage, eight chains and three-quarters, fenced.

Authorizing the Exchange of Settlement Land in the Otago Land District for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section seventy-two of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time exchange any settlement land for any other land, and may on such exchange pay or receive any sum by way of equality of exchange:
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General it is expedient to exchange the settlement land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the land of equal value described in Part II of the said Schedule, and the owner of the land described in the second part of the said Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said section seventy-two, do hereby authorize the exchange of the settlement land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the land described in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 21 perches, more or less, being part of Section 19, Block IV, Benger Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 18, Block IV aforesaid, 524·6 links; towards the north-east by Section 14, Block I, in the aforesaid survey district, 242 links; and towards the south-west by other part of said Section 19, 577·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/62, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
PART II.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, being part of Section 18, Block IV, Benger Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by other part of Section 18 aforesaid, 543·9 links; towards the south-east by Section 19, Block IV aforesaid, 382·8 links; and towards the south-west by Section 17, Block IV aforesaid, 386·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/62, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
