A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby set apart for selection by discharged
soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.โ€”CROWN LAND.โ€”NATIONAL
ENDOWMENT.

SECTION 3, Block XI: Area, 470 acres; Kaeo Survey District.

Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things,
enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended
under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in con-
nection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart
for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in
that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power
and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the pur-
poses of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito
Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land
described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

Pakuratahi Block.

SECTIONS 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block VIII, Puketapu Survey
District: Area, 2,694 acres.

As the same is delineated upon the plan marked L. and
S. 5/111, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, con-
venience, and enjoyment of the Onehunga Branch
of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land near
Te Papapa, in addition to land previously acquired for the
purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred
and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes above mentioned.
