Boundaries of Castlecliff Town District enlarged.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the Town District of Castlecliff was duly constituted and proclaimed under the Town Boards Act, 1908, with the boundaries described in the Schedule to the said Proclamation:
And whereas it is expedient to enlarge the boundaries of the said town district in the manner hereinafter set forth, and which said enlargement does not exceed the limits prescribed by the said Act for the area of a town district:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the said Town Boards Act, 1908, do hereby enlarge the said Town District of Castlecliff by adding thereto the area described in the First Schedule hereto; and do declare that on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, the boundaries of the said town district shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto; and do hereby further declare that on and from the aforesaid date the boundaries of the County of Waitotara, affected by the said enlargement, shall be those described in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM WAITOTARA COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN CASTLECLIFF TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of Section 227, Block V, Westmere Survey District, commencing at old peg IV shown on deposited plan No. 3394. Bounded towards the north-east by lines bearing 121° 23′ distance 202·44 links, bearing 120° 14′ 15″ distance 106·75 links, bearing 325° 23′ distance 2100 links, bearing 325° 19′ distance 1550 links, bearing 325° 23′ to the intersection of the present boundary of the Castlecliff Town District; thence towards the south-west by the Castlecliff Town District to old peg IV aforesaid, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
CASTLECLIFF TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Blocks IV and V, Westmere Survey District, bounded towards the north-west by a right line from a point on the high-water mark of the sea in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 2 shown on D.P. 2794, bearing 56° 26′ distance 196·6 links to Lot 2 aforesaid; thence towards the north-east generally by right lines bearing 121° 23′ distance 6347·8 links, bearing 121° 23′ distance 202·44 links, bearing 120° 14′ 15″ distance 106·75 links, bearing 145° 23′ distance 2100 links, bearing 145° 19′ distance 1550 links, bearing 145° 23′ about 640 links, bearing 108° 31′ distance about 3521 links, bearing 112° 4′ distance 1886·4 links, bearing 104° 39′ distance 1932·9 links, to the Heads-Mosstown Road; thence across and by that road to the boundary of the Gonville Town District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1907, page 838; thence by that town district to the Wanganui River; and thence towards the south-west by the Wanganui River and the sea to the place of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
WAITOTARA COUNTY.
All that area in the Taranaki and Wellington Land Districts, bounded by a line along the middle of the Wanganui River from its intersection by a right line running from Mount Humphries to the confluence of that river with the Tangarakau River to the sea, along the seashore to the mouth of the Waitotara River, and along the middle of that river to a point opposite the mouth of the Mangaone Stream, to and along that stream, and along the southern boundary of Section 16, Block V, Nukumaru Survey District, to Wharekarangi Trig. Station; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 16 aforesaid to and along the Mangaone Stream to the south-eastern corner of Lot 4 on plan No. 659, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that lot to and across the Waitotara Road and along the western boundaries of Lots 14 and 17 on plan No. 918, deposited as aforesaid, to Orangihoangi Trig. Station, and along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 11, Block XIV, Momahaki Survey District, and the Mangamingi Stream, to and along the Te Korokio Stream, and along the western and northern
