THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

district known as the Petone Eastern Special Rating Area, as
defined by resolution of the Council passed upon the 14th day
of December, 1914; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable yearly on the thirtieth day of June in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Petone Borough Council on the
fifteenth day of July, 1918.

In the matter of the BAKERY FLAT SLUICING COMPANY
(LIMITED).
At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company duly convened and held at the company’s
office, Stock Exchange Buildings, Princes Street, Dunedin,
on Monday, the 15th day of July, 1918, the following resolu-
tion was duly passed :—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that
the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its
business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and
that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provi-
sions of the Companies Act, 1908.”
And at such meeting WILLIAM FINLAY SLIGO, of Dunedin,
Sharebroker, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of
the winding-up.

of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN
ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be sub-
scribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and
any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by
the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding
