Major J. N. Rishworth ceases to be seconded for duty at Queen’s Hospital, Sidcup, and is appointed Deputy Director of Dental Services, vice Major B. S. Finn, D.S.O. Dated 10th May, 1918.

N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.

The Reverend L. B. Neale is seconded for duty to New Zealand. Dated 1st May, 1918.
The Reverend G. H. Gavin is placed on the N.Z. Roll on account of ill health contracted on active service. Dated 3rd May, 1918.

Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force.

APPOINTMENTS.

Lieutenant-Colonel Ernest Edward Porritt, M.D., N.Z. Medical Corps, is appointed a member of a Special District Medical Board, with pay and allowances of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 25th June, 1918.

Major Roderick McKenzie Gunn, M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, held the appointment of President, C2 Re-examination Board, from 25th September, 1917, to 26th April, 1918, with the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst so acting, and retains the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel until further notice on vacating the appointment.

Captain (temp.) Philip Thomas Harper, M.R.C.S. Eng., N.Z. Medical Corps, is appointed a member of a Special District Medical Board. Dated 8th July, 1918.

The undermentioned officers of the New Zealand Medical Corps are appointed emergency members of a Special District Medical Board. Dated 5th July, 1918 :—
