Station (in Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District); thence by that line to the last-mentioned trig. station, and that line produced to a point due south of Trig. Station II in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District; thence by a right line running due north through Trig. II aforesaid to the high-water mark to the Bay of Plenty; thence by the high-water mark of the sea to the western side of Maraetotara Road, in Block III, Whakatane Survey District; thence towards the east generally by the western side of that road to its junction with the Nukuhou — Maraetotara Road (Whakatane — Opotiki main road); thence along the western side of the last-mentioned road to its junction with the Nukuhou (Waimana—Ohiwa) Road; thence by the western side of that road to the confiscation-line; thence by part of the northern boundary-line of Waimana No. 1E Block, by the north-eastern and south-eastern boundary of Section 21, Block IV, Waimana Survey District, the south-eastern boundaries of Waimana 1c and 1d Blocks to Paitaua, and by the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned block to the Waimana or Tauranga River; thence by that river to its source; thence by the summit of the range to Maungapohatu Trig. Station; thence by a right line running in the direction of Puketapu Trig. Station 26, Tawaki Tohunga, in Block XII, Mangamaire Survey District; thence by a right line in a south-westerly direction to Trig. Station 27; thence westerly by a right line to Trig. Station 28, Manukaiapu; thence by a right line to Ruapehu Trig. Station; thence towards the west generally by a right line to Paretetaitonga Trig. Station, and by a right line to Ngauruhoe Trig. Station; thence by a right line to Tongariro Trig. Station; thence by a right line running in the direction of the mouth of the Waihi Stream to its intersection with the middle-line of the Wanganui River; thence by the middle of that river and the middle of the Ongaruhe River to the source of the last-mentioned river; thence by a right line to the Rangitoto Mountain; thence by a right line to the Puwhenua Trig. Station, the place of commencement.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District under Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the said section one hundred and twenty-seven of the said Act; and I do further declare that the said lands shall be deemed to be “heavy-bush land,” and shall be exempt from payment of general rates for a period of four years from the dates from which such lands are disposed of.
