Nelson Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 94 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block VIII, Mangonui Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Old Land Claim No. 246, and a road reserve along the Oruru River, 3837·7 and 612·8 links respectively; towards the south-east by Crown land, 4123·3 links; towards the south-west by Crown land, 392·2, 619·2, 594·2, 200·5, and 60 links; and towards the west generally by the Oparera Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/62, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan No. 19461.) For a resting-place for travelling stock.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section 36, Block VIII, Matiri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the main Nelson – Westport Road; towards the south-east by Section 37; towards the south-west by a road, one chain wide, along the right bank of the Buller River; and towards the north-west by Section 34. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/159, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 20 acres, more or less, being Section 3, Block XV, Wakamarara Survey District. Bounded towards the north and east by the road one chain wide covering the Collingwood – Heaphy Track; towards the south by Section 1, Block III, Gouland Survey District; and towards the west by Section 2, Block XV, Wakamarama Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/45, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. For a resting-place for travelling stock.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Taranaki, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three - hundred - and - twenty - first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Taranaki, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 34·18 perches, more or less, being Sections 12, 13, 14, and 15, Tahora Township. Bounded towards the north-west by the Tahora Road, 382·19 links; towards the north-east by the Waiau Road, 250 links; towards the south-east by Armstrong Street, 386·05 links; and towards the south-west by Section 16, Tahora Township, 273·05 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/135, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For an addition to a site for a public school.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 0 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4012, situated in Block IV, Cheviot Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north generally, 54·6, 803·9, and 615 links, by other part of Reserve 3179; towards the east by the Gower River; towards the south and west by Section 1, Cheviot Estate, 1245 links and 201·7 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/55, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For a site for buildings for the Hurunui Rabbit Trustees.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 81 acres, more or less, being Section 25, Block VI, Hawksbury Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 23, Block VI, Hawksbury Survey District; towards the east by the shore of the Waikouaiti Bay; towards the south-east by Section 24, Block VI, aforesaid; towards the south-west by the left bank of the Waikouaiti River; and towards the north-west by a road-line to Section 23 aforesaid. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/433, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For the purposes of public recreation.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM LEE MARTIN
to be a trustee, in the place of Percy Clark, who has resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Tahuna Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Lewis John Bacon, Edwin Swinburne Powell, Conrad Fitzgerald, and Arthur Stanley Warren, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.
