NEW ZEALAND STAFF CORPS.
Major Daniel Aloysius Hickey, D.S.O., is appointed Assistant Quartermaster-General, Otago Military District. Dated 19th February, 1917.
3RD (AUCKLAND) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Major Samuel Charles Schofield, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, is struck off the strength and absorbed into the Establishment, with his original rank and seniority—viz., Major, as from 1st September, 1914 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 5, of 20th January, 1916; to date from 26th June, 1917.
9TH (WELLINGTON EAST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
John Joseph Mead to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), vice Lieutenant Poynter, on active service. Dated 18th May, 1917.
NEW ZEALAND FIELD ARTILLERY.

7TH (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) REGIMENT.
The notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of 1st June, 1916, relating to Lieutenant William Peachey Aldridge, should read “28th February, 1916,” and not “10th February, 1916,” as therein stated.
With reference to the notification in the New Zealand Gazette No. 39, of 1st March, 1917, relating to 2nd Lieutenant Alan Arnold Barton to be Lieutenant, delete the words “9th February, 1917,” and substitute “20th February, 1916.”
NEW ZEALAND RIFLE BRIGADE (TERRITORIAL).
2nd Lieutenant William Wallace McClelland, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, is struck off the strength and absorbed, with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from 1st April, 1916 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 139, of 14th December, 1916); to date from 16th June, 1917.

Rangi Kerchoma to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation). Dated 15th March, 1917.

William Arthur Wheeler, M.D., B.S., to be Captain (on probation). Dated 2nd June, 1917.
Gilbert Haywood Mirams, M.B., B.S., to be Captain. Dated 29th April, 1917.
Charles Benjamin Rossiter is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst doing duty with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force. Dated 6th May, 1917.
The notification in the New Zealand Gazette No. 98, of 19th August, 1915, relating to William Crawford Macknight to be Captain, dated 9th July, 1915, is cancelled, and the following substituted: “Captain William Crawford Macknight resumes his original seniority, as from the 9th October, 1901.”
