Declaring Portion of Kakara Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of June, 1917.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Kakara Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with the Mangateka Road, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through Section part 61k, Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block IV, Aria Survey District, and Section 31, Block I, Tangitu Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section 31, on the county boundary; being a distance of 2 miles 68 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42354, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Kawae Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, known as Kawae Road, commencing at its junction with Kururau Road, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 33 and 34, Block II, Piopiotea West Survey District, and terminating at the north-western corner of the said Section 34; being a distance of 40Β·50 chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42364, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of the Wanganui River Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of June, 1917.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Wanganui River Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at its junction with the Otunui Road; and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, and following approximately the right bank of the Wanganui River, through or adjoining Sections 15, 16, 11, 6, 4, 12, 18, and 4, to its junction with the Aorangi Road, all in Block XVI, Ohura Survey District; being a distance of 2 miles 32 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42353, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Makokomiko Road, in the Kaitieke County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of June, 1917.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Makokomiko Road, in the Wellington Land District, Kaitieke County, commencing at the boundary between Sections 6 and 5, Block V, Hunua Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Section 5, Sections 4, 3, 1, Section 6 (Native reserve), Block V, and part Section 10, Block IV, Hunua Survey District, and terminating at a point about three chains west of south-eastern corner of Section 2, Block IV aforesaid; being a distance of 2 miles 52 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42355, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Land to be no longer subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of June, 1917.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor in Council may from time to time by Order in Council declare that any land subject to Part XIV or XV of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and vested in a Maori Land Board, shall no longer be subject to such Parts of that Act, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof:

And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is at present subject to Part XIV of the said Act, and is vested in the Tokerau District Maori Land Board, which Board has recommended that such land be no longer subject as aforesaid and that it be revested in the Native owners:

And whereas the Governor is satisfied that the said land is not subject to any lease, license, contract for sale, or other alienation, and that no moneys are charged on the said land or on the revenue thereof in accordance with the said Act or under any other authority :
