Crown Lands set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Section 16, Block X: Area, 219 acres 2 roods 15 perches.
Section part 24A and Section 31, Block IX: Area, 167 acres 0 roods 12 perches.

Wallace County.—Aparima Hundred.

Section 10, Block V: Area, 195 acres 0 roods 8 perches.

ERRATUM.—In the Proclamation dated the 17th day of March, 1917, allocating land for road purposes at Maimai, on the Stillwater—Reefton Railway, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 65, of 12th April, 1917, page 1220, in Schedule delete “30·7 perches.”
