Declaring Portion of Okupata Junction to Pekanui Road, in
the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-eighth
day of May, 1917.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Okupata Junction to Pekanui Road, in
the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, commencing
at the boundary between the Kawhia and Waitomo Counties,
and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction,
adjoining or passing through part Section 4 and part Kopua
No. 1s 2, Block VI, and Section 12, Block X, part Kopua
No. 1s 2, Blocks VI and X, Pirongia Survey District, and
terminating at the north-eastern corner of Section 12, Block
X, Pirongia Survey District ; being a distance of 2 miles
40 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42267,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon
coloured red.

to be a County Road.

day of May, 1917.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District,
Kaitieke County, known as the Maungaroa Road, com-
mencing at the boundary between Sections 3 and 4, Block
XVI, Retaruke Survey District, thence proceeding generally
in a south-easterly direction along part frontage of Section 4
aforesaid, and terminating at a point sixty-two chains beyond
the said boundary of Sections 3 and 4, Block XVI, Retaruke
Survey District. As the said portion of road is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42266,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red.

Awakino County, to be a County Road.

Sections 7, 8, 9, Mahoenui No. 4B, 10, Block VIII, Sections 1
(scenic reserve) and 2 (E.R.), Block X, Awakino North
Survey District, and terminating at the north-eastern corner
of the said Section 2 (E.R.) ; being a distance of seven miles,
more or less. As the said portion of road is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42263,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon
coloured red.

minating at a point thirty-two chains west of the boundary
between Sections 3 and 4, Block VI, Manganui Survey Dis-
trict ; being a distance of sixty chains, more or less. As the
said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 42244, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
