COMMANDS AND STAFF.
Major (temp. Brigadier-General) F. E. Johnston, C.B., relinquishes the command of the 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and to command the N.Z. Infantry Reserve Group, England. Dated 14th February, 1917.
Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) C. H. J. Brown, D.S.O., N.Z. Staff Corps, to command the 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and is granted the temporary rank of Brigadier-General whilst so employed. Dated 14th February, 1917.
Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) H. Hart, D.S.O., relinquishes the temporary command of the 3rd (N.Z. Rifles) Brigade, and the temporary rank of Colonel. Dated 5th February, 1917.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) A. S. Falconer, M.C., performed the duties of Brigade-Major from 3rd December, 1916, to 28th January, 1917.
Lieutenant F. G. Massey performed the duties of Staff Captain, 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade, from 4th December, 1916, to 28th January, 1917, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed.
