Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block I, Rangaunu
Survey District.
[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block I, Rangaunu Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been
observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of the said road; and I do also hereby declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
seventeen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:
A. R. P.
1 0 4, portion of Section 1; coloured blue.
5 2 0 " 2" red.
Situated in Block I, Rangaunu Survey District (S.O.
19139).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41757,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion. at the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of May,
in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred
and seventeen.

Rangiriri Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms
of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for
the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation
taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of
the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I
also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the nineteenth day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and seventeen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 2 roods
15 perches.
Portion of Section 1, Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District
(S.O. 18939).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42126,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes
of a road in Block XCIX, Clutha District, Clutha County :
And whereas the Clutha County Council has laid before
the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also
the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore. I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and seventeen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood
24·5 perches.
Portion of Section 12 and closed road, Block XCIX, Clutha
District (Otago R.D.).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42076,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
