I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution duly passed by the Matamata County Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 7th day of November, 1916.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above-mentioned company will be held on Friday, 19th January, 1917, at 11 a.m., at the Company's Old Office, Jagusch's Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland.
BUSINESS.
(a.) To receive and consider the Liquidator's account of the winding-up of the company.
(b.) To consider and if thought advisable to pass the following resolutions:
That the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators be left in the custody of Mr. J. B. MACFARLANE (one of the Liquidators) for a period of twelve (12) months from the date hereof, and thereafter be destroyed by him.
(c.) Any other business relating to the liquidation.

ELSTOW DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL INTEREST RATE FOR SPECIAL LOAN OF £5,000.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Elstow Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:- That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Elstow Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of improving present watercourses and drains, and constructing new watercourses and drains in the Elstow Drainage District, the Elstow Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special interest rate on a graduated scale according to the classification list of lands within the aforementioned Elstow Drainage District, of one penny farthing in the pound (14d. per £1) on the rateable value of all lands in class "A," one penny in the pound (1d. per £1) on the rateable value of all lands in class "B," and three-farthings in the pound (4d. per £1) on the rateable value of all lands in class "C," all of which classes, and the lands therein, together with their rateable values as appearing on the valuation roll of the district, are set out in the classification list (marked "A") of the Elstow Drainage District.
Such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

All that area described in the Schedule included in the Order in Council constituting the Elstow Drainage District, as appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 47, published at Wellington on the 29th day of April, 1916, page 1116.

STRATFORD ELECTRICAL SUPPLY COMPANY (LTD.).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the company's registered office on the 22nd day of December the following special resolution was passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held at the A. & P. Association's Office, Broadway, Stratford, on the 5th day of January, 1917, the said resolution was duly confirmed, viz.: “That the Stratford Electrical Supply Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that SAMUEL MILNE PORRITT, of Stratford, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up, and that his remuneration be fixed by the said meeting.”
