ditions, or rules made by the Governor, the Minister, or any Land Board, may be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time

And whereas it is necessary to amend a Proclamation issued under the Land Act, 1908, proclaiming land as a road in Block XI, Rangaunu Survey District, dated the twenty-fourth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 6, page 182, of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, and hereafter referred to as “the said Proclamation” :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby amend the said Proclamation as follows—namely, by inserting the following Schedule in the said Proclamation in lieu of the first item in the Schedule mentioned therein.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

A. R. P.
1 1 19, portion of Crown land; coloured neutral tint.
0 0 7·3 „ Allotment 131; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XI, Rangaunu Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41602, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned (S.O. 18167).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block III, Waitemata Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a public school in Block III, Waitemata Survey District:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into between the Education Board of the Education District of Auckland and the owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto, to take such land for the purposes of a public school:

And whereas the Education Board of the Education District of Auckland has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said public school, and shall, as from the date hereinafter specified, vest in the Education Board of the Education District of Auckland; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 10·27 perches.

Portion of Allotment 79, Parish of Takapuna (Auckland R.D.), Block III, Waitemata Survey District (S.O. 19086).

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41441, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41440, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
