Additional Land at Lincoln taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (Branch from Racecourse to Southbridge, with a Sub-branch to Little River, and thence to Akaroa).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (branch from Racecourse to Southbridge, with a sub-branch to Little River, and thence to Akaroa) to take further land at Lincoln, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 19·6 perches and 30·2 perches, portions of R.S. 2159, Block V, Halswell Survey District, Springs County. (S.O. 233v, red.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 24309, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green and yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land at Omimi, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 2·3 perches.
Portion of Section 80, Block I, Waikouaiti Survey District, Waikouaiti County (S.O. 7791).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 24299, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.
