Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of that month, certain lands in the Wellington Land District were declared to be reserves under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the lands so set apart) is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the destruction of the bush thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section 10 (formerly portion of Section 5), Block III, Manganui Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 5, 250 links; towards the north-east by Retaruke Valley Road, 571·2 links; and towards the south-west generally by a public road one chain wide along the bank of the Retaruke River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 616/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Settlement Lands set apart for Disposal by Way of Lease to Discharged Soldiers, on Ordinary Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of lease to discharged soldiers, on ordinary tenures, under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Waitakaruru Settlement.
SECTION 5, Block III: Area, 125 acres 3 roods.
Reynolds Settlement.
Section 17: Area, 94 acres 2 roods 35 perches.

Selwyn Settlement.
Section 107, Block VII: Area, 193 acres 1 rood 25 perches.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Kopaki, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
