Crown Land set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Tokatoka No. 1, Additional No. 3 Block (National Endowment).

Sections 2 to 25 (inclusive), Block XII, Tokatoka Survey District; Area, 1,569 acres 2 roods 9 perches.

As the same is delineated upon the plan marked L. and S. 5/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Rangitikei County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road: 2 acres 0 roods 18·1 perches and 4 acres 1 rood 15 perches.

Portions of Lot 1 on D.P. 1270 (parts of Blocks XXXIX and XL, Rangitikei District), Block XV, Wangaehu Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/24, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through the Pakonga A, B, and C Blocks to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by orders of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
