Special Order made by the Patangata County Council, altering Boundaries of Road Districts.

THE following special order, made by the Patangata County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
IN exercise of the powers conferred upon it under section 9 of the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Patangata County Council, on petition as required by that section, resolves by way of special order as follows :—
(1.) On and after the 1st day of April, 1918, the boundaries of the Wallingford, Wanstead, Mangatarata, and Tamumu Road Districts shall be altered by including in the Wallingford Road District the lands described in the First Schedule hereto.
(2.) The boundaries of the said road districts as altered shall be as described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
Area excluded from the Wanstead, Mangatarata, and Tamumu Road Districts and added to Wallingford Road District.
All that area in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Block 74, Block XIII, Pourerere Survey District; thence proceeding down the Huatokitoki Stream to its junction with the Tauraekaitai Stream; thence up that stream to the north-western boundary of Eparaima West Block; thence north-easterly along that boundary and along the western boundaries of Lots 8 and 7, Motuotaria Estate, to a public road; thence easterly along that road to the northernmost corner of Lot 11, Motuotaria Estate; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of said Lot 11, and Block 30, Block XIII, Pourerere Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Block 74; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of said block, and south-westerly along the north-western boundary of said block to the Huatokitoki Stream, being the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
Wallingford Road District.
All that area in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Block 30 in Block XIII, Pourerere Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Blocks 28, 9, 26, 25, 3, 2, and 2A to the sea-coast at Black Head; thence south-westerly along the seashore to the mouth of the Porangahau River; thence generally in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Porangahau Riding (see Gazette, 1883, folio 661) to the south-eastern corner of Block 3 in Block IV, Mangatoro Survey District; thence north-westerly along the Patangata County boundary (as described in Gazette, 1906, folio 2851) to the south-east boundary of Wharawhara No. 4 Block; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Wharawhara Nos. 4 and 5 Blocks, Blocks 60 and 56, to Eparaima Block; thence in an easterly direction generally along the southern boundaries of Eparaima G, F, E, D, and H Blocks to the Tauraekaitai Stream; thence down that stream to the north-western boundary of Eparaima West Block; thence north-easterly along that boundary and along the western boundaries of Lots 8 and 7, Motuotaria Estate, to a public road; thence easterly along that road to the northernmost corner of Lot 11, Motuotaria Estate; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of said Lot 11 and Block 30, to the point of commencement.
