A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby lay out and take as a road the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken: 1 rood 28 perches and 2 roods 17 perches.

Portions of Mahimahi E Block.

Situated in Block IV, Kaeo Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.

16/461, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (Auckland Plan 18068, blue.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 10 acres 1 rood 15 perches.

Portion of Crown land situated in Block X, Hukerenui Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/420, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. (Auckland Plan 19344, blue.)

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land at Hastings for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, the Governor may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary: And whereas certain land in Lot 2, Subdivision D, Heretaunga Block, Borough of Hastings, was taken for railway purposes by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 8, of the twenty-first day of the same month, is not required for the purpose for which the said land was taken: And whereas compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has not been paid or awarded:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
