Situated on Wangaehu Valley Road, the access being from Karioi Railway-station, which is about two miles distant by formed and metalled dray-road. Level and undulating. An area of about 40 acres comprises poor pumice land covered partly with stunted manuka, mingimingi, and tussock, the remainder is heavy swamp land covered with flax of poor quality. Well watered by Tokiahura and Waitaiki Streams. Elevation about, 1,900 ft. above sea-level. The improvements comprise about 91 chains of fencing and about 170 chains of drains, valued at £166 18s.
