Devonport (hereinafter called “the Corporation”) to reclaim the land described in the Schedule to the said Act, or any part thereof, upon such terms as may be prescribed by Order in Council and as may be agreed to by the Auckland Harbour Board :
And whereas the said Corporation is desirous of reclaiming such lands from the sea as shown in pink on plan marked M.D. 4665, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington: And whereas it is desirable that authority should be given to the Corporation to carry out such reclamation: And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the said Corporation of the Borough of Devonport to make such reclamation in accordance with the plan marked M.D. 4665, subject to the following terms, which have been agreed to by the Auckland Harbour Board, viz. :—
(1.) That all riparian rights affected by the reclamation and which might otherwise attach to the reclaimed area be extinguished by the Corporation without expense to the Auckland Harbour Board.
(2.) That the reclamation be completed within five years from the date of the coming into operation of the said Act.

Boundaries of Borough of Te Aroha altered.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, 1917.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS a petition has been presented to the Governor, under section fourteen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, praying the Governor to alter the boundaries of the Borough of Te Aroha by including therein the area described in the Schedule hereto: And whereas a notice showing the proposed alteration in boundaries of the said borough has been gazetted and publicly notified, and no objections in writing against such alteration have been lodged :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that, as on and from the date hereof, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be included in the Borough of Te Aroha.
SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF TE AROHA.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in Block IX, Aroha Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waihou River in line with the north-western side of the road between Section 13 and Te Aroha Borough Endowment, thence to and along the north-western side of that road to and along the north-eastern side of Stanley Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 65, Block IX aforesaid, across the said road and along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 65, 66, and 67, the south-western boundary of the said Section 67, and that boundary produced across a road and railway reserve to the easternmost corner of Section 77, along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, and 82, across a road, along the northern boundary of Section 9 and the eastern boundary of Section 6 to its north-eastern corner; thence along the southern side of a road to and across Stanley Road, along the north-eastern side of that road to and along the south-eastern side of the road forming the north-western boundary of Lot 5 of Section 12 to a landing reserve, along part of the south-western boundary of that reserve, along its south-eastern boundary and that boundary produced to the middle of the Waihou River, along the middle of that river to a point due west of the southernmost corner of Lot 5, Te Ruakaka Block; thence due east 3,000 links; thence due north to a point due west of the south-western corner of Lot 2 of the said Te Ruakaka Block; thence due east and across the railway to the said south-western corner and northward along the railway to Section 31, Block IX, aforesaid, along the southern boundary of that section to and across the Thames—Te Aroha Road and along the southern side of Tui Road to Section 117, along the western and northern boundaries of that section and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the boundary between Blocks IX and X, Aroha Survey District; thence along the boundary between the said Blocks IX and X to the easternmost corner of Section 14H and along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the present boundary of the Borough of Te Aroha; and thence along the north-eastern, northern, and western boundaries of that borough to the place of commencement.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Turanga-o-Moana Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of February, 1917.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, the domain described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

HENRY RICHARD HARDING,

to be the Turanga-o-Moana Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Turanga-o-Moana Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
TURANGA-O-MOANA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Sections 43 and 44, Block XIV, Wairere Survey District (Matamata Settlement). Bounded towards the north by Section 23, Wairere Survey District, 500 links; towards the east by a public road, 350 links; towards the south by Section 49, Wairere Survey District, 250 links; again towards the east by the aforesaid Section 49, 100 links; again towards the south by Section 45, Wairere Survey District, 250 links; and towards the west generally by Section 23 aforesaid, 500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/541, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland Plan 18309.)
