Schedule hereto for the public purpose hereinbefore mentioned, the same being part of the land held under occupation-with-right-of-purchase license as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing 20 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Section 10, Block IV, Retaruke Survey District, and consisting of two parts separated by the Kokakonui Stream. One part bounded towards the west, north, and east generally by Section 4, on lines bearing 336° 55′, 1166·5 links, 86° 30′ 30″, 1657·6 links, 162° 8′ 30″, 200·7 links, 162° 5′ 40″, 421·6 links, and 184° 40′ 40″, 590 links; and towards the south generally by the Kokakonui Stream. The other part bounded towards the south-west by Section 6, 509·6 links; towards the north generally by the Kokakonui Stream; towards the north-east by Section 4, 512 links; and towards the south-east by Kokakonui Road, 53·6 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1911/664, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this ninth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Land in Wellington Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Land Board of the Wellington Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land described in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix four years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

Declaring certain Lands to be available for Military Manœuvres.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section two of the Military Manœuvres Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto respectively shall, as from the date of this Proclamation, and thereafter during the present war with Germany, be available for military manœuvres under the said Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
FEATHERSTON MILITARY CAMP MANŒUVRE AREA.
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point 6 chains south and 1 mile 64 chains west of Huritene Trig. Station in Block XIV, Wairarapa Survey District; thence due north, 17 miles 20 chains; thence due east, 13 miles 10 chains; thence due south, 17 miles 20 chains; and thence due west, 13 miles 10 chains, to the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
TRENTHAM MILITARY CAMP MANŒUVRE AREA.
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point 24 chains south and 43 chains west of Fitzherbert Trig. Station in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District; thence due north, 11 miles 28 chains; thence due east, 11 miles 50 chains; thence due south to the northern boundary of Rimutaka Survey District; thence along the summit of the range over Mount Climie south-westward to a point due east of the place of commencement, and thence due west to the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land near Arthurton, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
