thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or
any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved
by the Governor in Council:

And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided
that such approval may be either absolute or subject to
such conditions with respect to the building-line as the
Governor, by Order in Council, thinks fit to impose:

And whereas the Vincent County Council, being the local
authority having control of the roads described in the
Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolutions—viz.,
“ That the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen
of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the district
road between Sections 8 and 9, and between Sections 6
and 10, all in Block I, Cairn Hill Survey District; that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the
district road between Section 30 and Sections 31 and 33,
Block I, Cairn Hill Survey District; that the provisions of
section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act,
1908, shall not apply (so far as the setting-back on the
southern side thereof is concerned) to the district road
lying between Sections 36, 37, and 38 and Sections 34 and
35, Block I, Cairn Hill Survey District; and that the
provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the
Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the district road
between Sections 2 and 4, Block I, Cairn Hill Survey
District ”:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolutions
should be approved:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
approve of the said resolutions.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road situated in the Otago Land District, Vincent
County, adjoining or passing through Sections 6, 8, 9, and 10,
Block I, Cairn Hill District.

Also all that road, situated in the said land district and
county, adjoining or passing through Sections 35, 34, 33, 31,
and 36, 37, 38, 30, Block I, Cairn Hill District.

Also all that road, situated in the said land district and
county, adjoining or passing through Sections 2 and part 4,
Block I, Cairn Hill District.

As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 40934, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District, and thereon coloured black.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kimbolton
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this ninth day of
January, 1917.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “ the
said Act ”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fourteenth
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the sixteenth day
of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, a Domain
Board was appointed to control the Kimbolton Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the thirteenth day of December, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, at seven o’clock
p.m., as the time when, and the Kiwitea County Council Offices,
Kimbolton, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board
shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

KIMBOLTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
20 acres 0 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 16,
Suburbs of Kimbolton. Bounded towards the north-west by
Section No. 26, 1259·1 links; towards the north-east by
Sections Nos. 11, 12, 13, and 14, 1772·5 links; towards the
south-east generally by London Street; and towards the
south-west by Sections Nos. 19, 18, and 17, 1490·8 links.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining 17 acres, more or less, being Section No. 92c,
Block XIII, Apiti Survey District. Bounded towards the
south-west and north-west generally by Forest Road; towards
the north-east by Section No. 23, 1047·5 links; and towards
the south-east by Section No. 24, 1374·1 links.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining 26 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Sec-
tion No. 92B, Block XIII, Apiti Survey District. Bounded
towards the north-west, north, and south-east generally by
Forest Road, and towards the south-west by Section No. 266,
3547·2 links.

Also, all that area in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 92E, Block XIII,
Apiti Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west and
north-east generally by a public road and by Forest Road,
and towards the south-west by Section No. 266, 1652·2 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are
delineated on plans marked 1/502, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
