Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rangitoto-Tuhua 73B, Section 3, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Otorohanga on Wednesday, the 21st day of March, 1917, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“ (1.) That the land be leased to Donald Stewart for a term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 1s. 6d. per acre during the first twenty-one years, and 3s. per acre during the remaining twenty-one years.
“ (2.) That the land be sold to Donald Stewart for the amount of the Government valuation.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kawhia E No. 2B will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Otorohanga on Wednesday, the 21st day of March, 1917, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the land be leased to Tema Pouwhare for a term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 1s. 6d. per acre during the first twenty-one years, and 3s. per acre during the remaining twenty-one years.”

“ That the land be sold to Eric Arthur Langley for the sum of £2 per acre.”

“ That the land be leased to James Henry Phillips for a term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 2s. 6d. per acre during the first twenty-one years, and 5s. per acre during the remaining twenty-one years.”

“ That the land be sold to the Crown for the sum of £400.”

“ That the land be sold to James Phillips for the sum of £2 per acre.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whakamaru-Maungaiti 5208C No. 4 West will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Putaruru on Tuesday, the 20th day of March, 1917, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Edgar Redpath shall be agreed to.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wainui-o-Mata, Section 22, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wellington on Thursday, the 16th day of March, 1917, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the said land, containing 107 acres 2 roods, be leased to Frederick Robert Morrison for a term of twenty-one years at an annual rental to be not less than 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation for the first ten years of the term, and thereafter for the remaining eleven years at 5 per cent. on a Government valuation to be made at the expiration of the first ten years of the term.”
