of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Govern-
ment road: 1 acre 1 rood 25 perches.
Adjoining or passing through E.R. 130, Mangatete Parish,
Block XI, Rangauau Survey District (S.O. 19249).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41373,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured green.

District, to be Government Roads.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-sixth
day of February, 1917.

IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become
Government roads.

Situated in Clutha District.
In the Otago Land District; as the same are more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40945,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Domain Board appointed to have control of the Waikakahi
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-sixth
day of February, 1917.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to
time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-
second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
nine, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Wai-
kakahi Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the twentieth day of December, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint
