Declaring Approach Road to Huarau Station, in the Otamatea
County, to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day
of February, 1917.

THE HONOURABLE JAMES ALLEN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after
the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road situated in the Auckland Land District,
Otamatea County, known as Approach Road to Huarau
Station, commencing at its junction with the Matakoho to
Paparoa Road, and proceeding in a westerly direction to its
intersection with the eastern boundary of the Huarau Rail-
way-station Reserve, all in Section 84, Block XVI, Matakoho
Survey District; being a distance of five chains and a half,
more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41654, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured
white.

Declaring Portions of Roads in the Otamatea County to be
County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day
of February, 1917.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road, situated in the Auckland Land
District, Otamatea County, commencing at its junction with
Galvin Road, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction,
adjoining or passing through Sections 40 and 36, Block XI,
Tokatoka Survey District, and terminating at the north-
eastern corner of the said Section 36; being a distance of
48½ chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road, situated in the said land
district and county, commencing at the south-western corner
of Section 53, Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District, and
proceeding thence in a northerly direction, adjoining or
passing through the said Section 53 and Sections 78 and 49,
Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District; and terminating at
its junction with Tramway Road; being a distance of 1 mile
11 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road, situated in the said land
district and county, commencing at the south-western corner
of Section 78, Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District, and pro-
ceeding thence in an easterly direction, adjoining or passing
through the said Section 78 and Sections 79, 80, and 81,
Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District, and terminating at
the south-eastern corner of the said Section 81; being a
distance of 1 mile 25 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road, situated in the said land
district and county, commencing at its junction with Robert-
son Road, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction,
adjoining or passing through Sections part 56, 54, 81, and 52,
Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District, and terminating at
its junction with Tramway Road; being a distance of 1 mile
22 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road, situated in the said land
district and county, commencing at the north-western corner
of Section 4, Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District, and pro-
ceeding thence in an easterly direction, adjoining or passing
through the said Section 4 and Sections 23, 73, 75, and 76,
Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District; being a distance of
1 mile 33½ chains, more or less.
As the said portions of roads are more particularly de-
lineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41651, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the
Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured yellow.

Company (Limited) to erect Electric Lines from its Works
in Borough of Wairoa to a Point on the Wairoa River.

WHEREAS by section two of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act, 1911, it is provided that no person shall
lay, construct, place, put up, or use any electric line except
under the authority of a license issued by the Governor in
Council under that Act:
And whereas the Wairoa Farmers’ Co-operative Meat
Company (Limited), (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”),
desires to erect electric lines along the route defined in the
Schedule hereto, and hereinafter called “the said electric
lines,” and it is expedient accordingly to issue a license in
respect thereof under the said section:
