REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tauakira 2m 3b Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wanganui on Friday, the 14th day of December, 1917, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“ That the said land be sold to Arthur Stewart Burgess, of Wanganui, merchant, at a price equal to the Government valuation of the said land; or, in the alternative
“ That the said land be leased to Arthur Stewart Burgess, of Wanganui, merchant, for forty-two years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the Government valuation for the first twenty-one years, and for the second twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the amount of the Government unimproved valuation extant in the year 1938.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ohoutahi No. 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wanganui on Friday, the 14th day of December, 1917, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the said land be leased to Coral Amelia Davey, wife of Albert Edward Davey, of Hiruharama, farmer, for the term of forty-two years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the Government valuation thereof for the first twenty-one years, and at a rental of 5 per cent. on the unimproved Government valuation for the remaining twenty-one years of the said term.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waharangi 6c will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wanganui on Friday, the 14th day of December, 1917, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“ That the said land be sold to William Merkley Gunn, of Pipiriki, farmer, at a price equal to the Government valuation of the said land; or, in the alternative
“ That the said land be leased to William Merkley Gunn, of Pipiriki, farmer, for a term of forty-two years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the Government valuation for the first twenty-one years, and at rental equal to 5 per cent. on the Government unimproved value of the said land for the remaining twenty-one years of the said term.”

“ That the land be leased to Gifford Nott Monk for forty-two years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present value of the land for the first twenty-one years, and at a rental of 5 per cent. on the unimproved value of the land in 1938 for the next twenty-one years.”

“ That a proposed alienation of the land by way of sale to Wenarata Kihirini and Aritaku Wihapi shall be agreed to; or, in the alternative
“ That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Wenarata Kihirini and Aritaku Wihapi shall be agreed to.”
