97 17/599 Takahangapounamu No. 4g Block That the following proposed alienation of the land be agreed to: Lease to Hoeroa Marumaru, of Parewanui, farmer, for twenty-one years at an annual rental of 5 per cent. of the present Government valuation of the said land. (Burnett, McBeth, and Hogg.)
98 17/622 Ohotu 4b 1c Block .. .. That the owners’ interest in Ohotu 4b 1c, containing 90 acres 3 roods 14 perches, be sold to Charles Boyd Duncan at the price of £5 per acre (Currie and Jack).
99 17/623 Otamare Block, Section 5, Block VI, Waimate Survey District That the land be leased to Rangihuna Pire for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum of the Government valuation of the land. Lessee to covenant to protect graves and prevent sand drifting. (Currie and Jack.)

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Te Nau 1a will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wanganui on Friday, the 14th day of December, 1917, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land be leased to Albert Schreiber, of Tarata, farmer, for twenty-one years, with a right of renewal for a further twenty-one years, at a rental of 1s. 6d. per acre per annum for the first ten years and 2s. per acre per annum for the remaining eleven years.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ngapakihi No. 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Raetihi on Friday, the 21st day of December, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the land known as Ngapakihi No. 3 be sold (subject to existing timber-cutting rights) to Ella Elizabeth Carter, of Wellington, spinster, at a price equal to the Government valuation thereof.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ngapakihi No. 1z will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Raetihi on Friday, the 21st day of December, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the estate and interest of the owners in the land known as Ngapakihi No. 1z, and the timber thereon, be sold to Pearl Blanche Harris, of Raetihi, spinster, for the sum of £12 per acre cash.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Puketapu Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokaanu on Tuesday, the 11th day of January, 1918, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That an area of 2,500 acres, being the north-western part of the Puketapu Block (beginning at Te Umutoi, thence bounded on the west by the Rangitoto-Tuhia Nos. 1 and 8 Blocks, on the north by the Taringamutu Stream, on the east by a line running in a southerly direction from the Taringamutu Stream at a point near No. 1 mill-site, about 80 chains; thence in a south-westerly direction to the Pungapunga Stream, where it is joined by the Waiwhera-whera Stream; thence by the Pungapunga Stream to the commencing point) be leased to Godfrey Clapham Wells, a captain in the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces, for a term of forty-two years at a rental for the first twenty-one years equal to 5 per cent. on the Government valuation of the said land, and for the second twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the Government unimproved valuation of the land extant in the 1938; or, in the alternative

“That the said land be sold to the said Godfrey Clapham Wells at a price equal to the Government valuation of the said land.”

Dated at Wanganui this 20th day of November, 1917.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ohura South B 2b Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Taumarunui on Thursday, the 20th day of December, 1917, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land and the milling-timber thereon be sold to James Georgetti, of Mangaweka, farmer, for the amount of the Government valuation, except about 150 acres on the north-western end, to be reserved for resident owners and non-sellers to existing timber-cutting rights.”
