In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of A. H. ATKINSON AND COMPANY (LIMITED), a private company duly incorporated.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the members of the above-named company held at Feilding on the 16th day of November, 1917, the following resolution was duly passed, and an entry thereof was made in the minute-book of and signed by all the members of the above-named company :—

  1. That A. H. Atkinson and Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily.
  2. That ARNOLD HUGH ATKINSON, of Feilding, Valuer, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of A. H. Atkinson and Company (Limited).
    Dated at Feilding this 16th day of November, 1917.

ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL.

KAPONGA RIDING LOAN.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Eltham County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of—
(1.) Erection of a ferro-concrete bridge over Manga-whereoiti Stream, Eltham Road, Kaponga Riding £ 1,000
(2.) Completing formation and metalling of Auroa Road on boundary between said Kaponga Riding and the Egmont County .. 500
Total .. .. .. £1,500
the said Eltham County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kaponga Riding Special-rating Area (comprising the whole of the Kaponga Riding, Outlying); and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CERTIFICATE.

The foregoing resolution was passed at a properly convened ordinary meeting of the Eltham County Council held on Saturday, the 10th day of November, 1917.
