A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Lands set apart for State-forest Purposes in the Nelson Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the State Forests Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the forest lands described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for State forests within the provisions of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing about 2,200 acres, situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Pakawau Survey District, bounded by a line commencing where the southern boundary of Section 3, Block IX, Scenic Reserve, is intersected by the edge of the bush; thence along the southern boundary of that section to its easternmost point, and along the southern side of a road running to and along the south-western boundary of Section 2, Scenic Reserve, to a point opposite the southernmost point of that section; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 5, Block XIII, and along the north-western boundary of that section to its westernmost corner; thence north-westward along the summit of a spur between two streams to the south-eastern edge of the bush; and thence along the edge of the bush northward to the southern boundary of Section 3 aforesaid, the place of commencement.
Also all that area, containing about 1,900 acres, situated in Blocks XII and XIII, Pakawau Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of an occupation license west of Section 9, Block XIII; thence to and along the north-western boundary of an occupation license north of Sections 2 and 4, Block III, Aorere Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of Block XIII aforesaid, about 65 chains to the south-western corner of the said Block XIII; thence north-westward about a mile to the summit of the spur between the Kaituna and Mangamanga Streams; thence north-eastward about a mile and a half along the said spur; thence south-eastward about 87 chains to the north-western boundary of Section 6, Block XIII, about 78 chains from its westernmost corner; thence south-eastward across that section and along its south-eastern boundary to a point distant about 40 chains from its southernmost corner; and thence south-easterly about 66 chains to the place of commencement.
Also all that area, containing about 5,800 acres, situated in Blocks XI and XII, Aorere Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of Rocky and Slate Rivers; thence due east about 184 chains; thence due south about 198 chains to the southern boundary of Block XII; thence along the southern boundaries of Blocks XII and XI to a pack-track from Collingwood on the spur west of Rocky River, along that track to a point about 30 chains from the edge of the bush, where another track runs south-easterly to Rocky River; and thence north-eastward about 68 chains to the place of commencement.
Also all that area, containing about 1,850 acres, situated in Blocks V, VI, IX, and X, Aorere Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 16, Block IX; thence along a right line running north-eastward in the direction of a point about 4 chains west of the westernmost corner of Section 7, Block II, distance about 275 chains; thence south-eastward about 72 chains in the direction of the northernmost corner of Section 17, Block VI; thence south-westward about 200 chains to the northernmost corner of Section 5, Block IX, along the north-western boundaries of Sections 5, 4, and 11, Block IX, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 16 to its northernmost corner, the place of commencement.
Also all that area, containing about 1,600 acres, situated in Blocks II and VI, Aorere Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point about 4 chains west of the westernmost corner of Section 7, Block II; thence to and along the south-western boundary of that section to Section 6, along part of the north-western boundary of Section 6, the north-western and part of the south-western boundaries of Section 5, the north-western boundaries of Sections 4 and 3, Block II aforesaid, the north-western boundary of Section 33, Block VI, the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 32, the north-western boundary of Section 30, and along part of its south-western boundary about 22 chains; thence at right angles to the last-mentioned boundary about 36 chains; thence at right angles to the last-mentioned boundary about 23 chains to Section 11, Block VI, along part of the
