NEW ZEALAND RIFLE BRIGADE.
Lieut.-Colonel A. E. Stewart, D.S.O., to temporarily command 3rd N.Z. (Rifles) Brigade, and is granted the temporary rank of Colonel whilst so employed. Dated 9th August, 1917.
Captain H. Wilson is transferred from N.Z. Pioneer Battalion, and remains seconded for duty as Traffic Control Officer. Dated 12th August, 1917.
2nd Lieutenant H. D. Tennant, invalided to New Zealand, is placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated 14th July, 1917.
The undermentioned, having been declared by a Medical Board to be unfit for general service within twelve months, are seconded under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34, from dates shown:—

Captain C. S. Simpson was tried by general Court-martial on 13th June, 1917, found guilty of absence without leave, and sentenced to take rank and precedence in the N.Z.E.F. as if his appointment as Captain bore date 11th November, 1915, and to be severely reprimanded.
