THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

2nd Lieutenant William Sarsfield Clancy, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, is struck off the strength, with effect from the 10th November, 1917, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority — viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from the 26th September, 1916 (vide N.Z. Gazette No. 11, of the 25th January, 1917).
Regimental Sergeant-major Edward Humphrey Bracey is appointed Record Officer, Featherston Camp Records, and is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant temporarily whilst so employed. Dated 8th October, 1917.
Staff Sergeant Harold William Hesse is granted the temporary rank of 2nd Lieutenant whilst employed at Base Records. Dated 12th October, 1917.
CORRIGENDA.
With reference to the notification in the N.Z. Gazette No. 141, of the 9th December, 1915, under the heading “New Zealand Army Nursing Service,” the undermentioned having married, their names are as now stated:—

Award of Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-service Medal.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the award of a Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-service Medal to
Major JOHN GRANT, Retired List, New Zealand Forces (late Active List, Unattached, New Zealand Volunteers),
he having a total service to the 13th September, 1904, entitling him thereto, of twenty-one years two hundred and seven days.

OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL
Special Order passed at the Meeting held on the 25th Day of April, 1917.
THAT, for the purpose of better adjustment of representation, this Council resolve by special order,—
- That the number of ridings be increased to ten.
- That the name of the new riding shall be the Ongarue Riding.
- That the rearrangement of boundaries of the various ridings arranged and defined in the minutes of the special meeting held on the 29th day of March be agreed to.
- That the same be confirmed at the meeting of this Council on the 30th May, 1917.
I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made.
