Arrangements for First Election, &c., Wharepapa Road District.

Wellington, 26th October, 1917.
HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
FREDERICK WARE, of Te Awamutu,
to be the Returning Officer and person to prepare roll of ratepayers for the purposes of the first election of members of the Board of the Wharepapa Road District as constituted under section 27 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act of 1916; also to appoint Monday, the 19th day of November, 1917, to be the day on which such first election shall be held; also to appoint Saturday, the 24th day of November, 1917, at 11 o’clock in the morning, to be the time, and Mr. F. Ware’s Office, Redoubt Chambers, Te Awamutu, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the members of the Board so elected shall be held.

to be a Ranger under the Animals Protection Act, 1908, for the Rotorua Acclimatization District, and an Officer under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

Captain (temp. Lieut.-Colonel) William Kington Fyffe relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 2nd October, 1917.
Colonel the Honourable William Edward Collins, M.B., C.M.G., t.d., M.L.C., New Zealand Medical Corps, is temporarily relieved from duty on H.M.N.Z. Hospital Ships as from 22nd September, 1917, and is appointed Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 2nd October, 1917.
