New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a
further period of six months the Order in Council dated the
twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
sixteen, and gazetted the twenty-third day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen, prohibiting all alienations
of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than
alienations in favour of the Crown.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands
other than Alienations in Favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of October, 1917.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend the
Order in Council made the thirteenth day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and gazetted the six-
teenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
sixteen, for a further period of six months, but only in so far
as it affects the lands specified in the Schedule hereto, pro-
hibiting all alienations of such lands other than alienations
in favour of the Crown.

Partial Revocation of an Order in Council prohibiting all
Alienations of certain Native Lands other than Alienations
in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of October, 1917.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three
of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any
Order in Council made under that section may at any time
be varied or revoked:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council
as set out in Part I of the Schedule hereto, but only in so far
as it affects the land mentioned in Part II of the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
PART I.

Order in Council under section 363 of the Native Land Act,
1909, dated the 18th December, 1917, and gazetted the 21st
December, 1916, affecting Rotomahama-Parekarangi 6A 2
No. 4B No. 1B and other subdivisions of the Rotomahana-
Parekarangi Block.

PART II.

Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6A 2 No. 5B No. 2 Block: Ap-
proximate area, 135 acres; Horohoro and Tarawera Survey
Districts.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of October, 1917.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-
tive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and
declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland
Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the
said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter form part of
the Ngaruawahia Domain, and be managed, administered,
and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sec-
tion 671, Township of Newcastle, Block VII, Newcastle
Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods
32·6 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the south-east
by Durham Street, 317·85 links; towards the south-west by
Jesmond Street, 184·87 and 98·7 links; towards the north-
west and north-east generally by Bradley Street, 182·2, 99·45,
and 184·35 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
save and except Section 673 (Native Monument Reserve),
Township of Newcastle, within the hereinbefore-described
area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and
S. 2/236, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland
Plan No. 19287.)

Waverley Patriotic League incorporated under the War
Funds Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth
day of October, 1917.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve of the War Funds Act,
1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it
is provided that the Governor-General may, by Order in
Council gazetted, incorporate a society possessing a war
fund, or the trustees of such fund: And whereas application,
in writing addressed to the Minister, has been made by the
Waverley Patriotic League (being a society possessing a war
fund), praying for the incorporation of that society:

And whereas it is considered desirable to grant such
application:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the society known as the Waverley Patriotic
League is hereby incorporated for the purposes of the said
Act as from the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, and shall be known as the “Waverley Patriotic
League.”
