of Paraeroa 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Monday, the 29th day of October, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That the said Paraeroa No. 1 Block be sold to Julia Orr, of Kanakanaia, widow, at a price not less than the present Government valuation of the said land.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.


THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhiti Consolidation D Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay on Friday, the 26th day of October, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That 700 acres of the said Nuhiti Consolidation D Block be leased to Harata te Iringaio and Clarence Yates for a term of twenty-one years at 5 per cent. per annum of the Government valuation, with compensation for all improvements other than boundary fences. Locality to be fixed at the meeting.”

“ That the said land be sold to Hilary James Peacocke, of Te Karaka, Sawmiller, for the sum of £2,183 (two thousand one hundred and eighty-three pounds).

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Oamaru No. 3B Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Opotiki on Friday, the 26th day of October, 1917, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land or any part thereof shall be accepted.”
